Sandra Moller was elected in June 2011 to the OC Board of Directors; her current term expires in 2014. Ms. Moller grew up in Unalaska and is the daughter of the late Carl Moller and the late Irene Newton. Sandra is a life-long Alaskan and a registered Professional Engineer. She received her degree from the University of Alaska-Fairbanks in Civil Engineering.
Ms. Moller was appointed to Deputy Director – Rural Energy of the Alaska Energy Authority in June 2011. Her responsibilities include management of the Authority’s programs affecting rural Alaska power systems including bulk fuel storage facilities, power plant and distribution systems and the training to operate those systems.
Prior to joining the Authority, Ms. Moller was the Project Manager–Real Estate at Cook Inlet Region Inc. Her responsibilities included all aspects of commercial real estate development with an emphasis in construction. Previously, she was with the Aleut Enterprise LLC for eleven years as its President/CEO with primary responsibility of economic development and fuel acquisition and oversight of terminal operations.
