Lois A. Burrece, Director
Lois Burrece's current term began in 2008, with her nomination and appointment to the Board after Shirley Gustafson's resignation, and expires in 2011. She currently lives in Bellingham, Washington, and attends meetings by teleconference. Since her election to OC's Board of Directors, she has been diligently working on moving home.
Lois is the president of Dutch Harbor Development Corporation, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Ounalashka Corporation.
Lois is self-employed as bookkeeper with Burrece Fisheries. She is a doll maker, crafting traditionally clothed Unangam dolls (very prized gifts at OC's Annual Meetings!). Lois is a Mentor at the Qawalangin Tribe's Camp Qungaayux^ in skin sewing. She has also worked as a pharmacy assistant for Rite-Aid in Bellingham. From 1979 through 1982, Lois worked for OC as its Shareholder Affairs director and billing clerk.
