Chris Salts, Controller
Chris Salts joined OC in November 2001, and he has worked hard with our favorite professional independent contractor, Rick Miller, to upgrade OC's elderly accounting software. As OC's controller, Chris performs highly responsible financial accounting, record keeping and reporting functions, serving as the chief accountant and assisting the CEO with managing all financial accounting systems and practices.
Chris grew up in Yakima, Washington, went to college in Seattle and Ellensburg. He's spent most of his accounting career as a controller in the high-tech industry, and as an independent controller, and was excited for the challenge of working with a new accounting model, namely a parent and subsidiary corporations. Chris was excited to work for OC and live in Unalaska because he loves to ski and hike, and is hoping to do a lot of fishing, berry and mushroom picking soon. He enjoys living in the community of Unalaska, and likes the friendly atmosphere. Chris thinks this site needs a recipe page.
Katherine Fernandez, Accounting Technician
Catherine (we call her Eren) came to OC in 2001 as our receptionist. In April 2002 she moved into the position of Accounting Technician. In this position, Eren Fernandez performs bookkeeping functions for OC's accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll.

Millie Watts began working as a temporary Summer employee at the Aleutian World War II Visitor Center in 2005. We liked her so much, we kept her. Millie works with Eren and Chris as their administrative support and does a great job.
